If you are accessing this Website on behalf of a business, farming partnership, or agricultural enterprise, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

VDTPanl Ltd provides solar energy solutions specifically designed for farms and agricultural enterprises across the United Kingdom. Our services encompass the full lifecycle of a solar energy project, from initial consultation through to long-term system monitoring and maintenance.
Our core services include, but are not limited to:
The specific scope, specifications, and pricing of services will be detailed in a formal quotation document provided to you following a site assessment. Services are subject to availability, site suitability, and technical feasibility as determined by our engineering team.
When using the VDTPanl Website or engaging with our services, you agree to the following obligations and commitments:
When engaging our installation services, you additionally agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property for our engineers and installation teams, ensure that any information you provide about your property, energy usage, and existing electrical systems is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and comply with any site-specific safety requirements communicated by our team prior to or during installation work.
All content on the VDTPanl Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, software, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, is the property of VDTPanl Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The VDTPanl name, logo, and all related product and service names, design marks, and slogans are trademarks of VDTPanl Ltd. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission. All other trademarks not owned by VDTPanl Ltd that appear on the Website are the property of their respective owners.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Website for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with evaluating or engaging our solar energy services. This licence does not include the right to collect or use any product listings, descriptions, or prices for commercial purposes; to make any derivative use of the Website or its contents; to download or copy account information for the benefit of another party; or to use data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
Any unauthorised use of the Website or its content terminates the limited licence granted herein without notice and without prejudice to our other rights and remedies under law or equity.
All quotations provided by VDTPanl Ltd are based on the information available at the time of the site assessment and are valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. After the 30-day validity period, quotes may be subject to revision based on changes in equipment costs, labour rates, or other relevant factors.
Prices quoted include the supply and installation of specified equipment, standard electrical wiring, DNO notification or application (where applicable), system commissioning, and setup of monitoring systems. Prices do not include structural remediation work, asbestos removal or management, scaffolding or access equipment beyond standard requirements, planning application fees (where applicable), or upgrades to the main electrical supply board unless explicitly stated in the quotation.
Payment terms will be specified in the formal quotation and contract documentation. Typically, a deposit is required upon acceptance of a quote, with the balance payable upon successful commissioning of the system. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the site conditions encountered during installation differ materially from those observed during the initial survey. Any such adjustments will be communicated and agreed upon with you before additional work proceeds.
All prices are stated in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise indicated. Solar panel installations for residential properties may qualify for the zero-rate VAT scheme; eligibility will be confirmed at the quotation stage based on your specific circumstances.
Upon acceptance of a quotation and receipt of the required deposit, VDTPanl Ltd will schedule the installation at a mutually agreed date. We will make every reasonable effort to adhere to the agreed installation schedule; however, delays may occur due to adverse weather conditions, supply chain disruptions, DNO connection timescales, or unforeseen site conditions. We will communicate any expected delays promptly and work with you to reschedule at the earliest available opportunity.
You are responsible for ensuring that our installation team has clear, safe, and unobstructed access to all areas of the property where work is to be carried out. This includes clearing rooftop obstructions, providing access to electrical distribution boards, and ensuring livestock are secured at a safe distance from work zones during the installation period. If access is restricted or working conditions are deemed unsafe by our site supervisor, the installation may be postponed, and additional charges may apply for return visits.
All installation work is carried out in accordance with current Building Regulations (Part P), BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), and Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) standards. Upon completion, you will receive MCS certification, an electrical installation certificate, a system commissioning report, and product warranty documentation for all major components.
VDTPanl Ltd provides the following warranties on installed solar energy systems:
Warranty claims are managed by VDTPanl Ltd on your behalf. Should a component fail within the warranty period, we will coordinate with the manufacturer to arrange repair or replacement at no cost to you, subject to the specific warranty terms and conditions of each manufacturer. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, natural disasters, lightning strikes, flooding, or failure to maintain the system in accordance with the recommended maintenance schedule provided at commissioning.
The information provided on the VDTPanl Website is for general informational purposes and is intended to help visitors understand our services and the benefits of solar energy for agricultural applications. While we strive to ensure that information presented on the Website is accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Energy generation projections, financial savings estimates, and return on investment calculations provided on the Website or in marketing materials are based on industry-standard modelling tools, historical solar irradiance data, and typical system performance benchmarks. Actual results may vary based on weather patterns, system orientation, shading conditions, equipment degradation, electricity tariff changes, and your specific energy consumption behaviour. Projections should be treated as reasonable estimates rather than guaranteed outcomes.
The Website and all content, materials, information, software, products, and services provided on the Website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. VDTPanl Ltd expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the Website will meet your requirements, that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that defects, if any, will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VDTPanl Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Website or any services.
In no event shall the total aggregate liability of VDTPanl Ltd arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, exceed the total amount paid by you to VDTPanl Ltd in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one thousand British Pounds Sterling (£1,000), whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law. These limitations apply regardless of whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if VDTPanl Ltd has been advised of the possibility of such damage.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VDTPanl Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, and any third-party information providers from and against all losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, resulting from any violation of these Terms of Service by you, or any activity related to your account or use of the Website (including negligent or wrongful conduct), or any breach of any representation or warranty you have made in these Terms of Service.
This indemnification obligation extends to any claims arising from information or content you submit, post, or transmit through the Website, your use of any services or products obtained through the Website, or your violation of any rights of another party. VDTPanl Ltd reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and in such case, you agree to cooperate with our defence of such claim.
The VDTPanl Website may contain links to websites or resources operated by third parties. These links are provided for your convenience and reference only. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by VDTPanl Ltd.
We strongly encourage you to review the terms of service and privacy policy of any third-party website you visit through links on our Website. Your interaction with any third-party website, including the purchase of products or services, is solely between you and that third party. VDTPanl Ltd shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any content, goods, or services available on or through any third-party website.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Service. By using the Website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to read our Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we handle your personal data, what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and what rights you have regarding your personal information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
These Terms of Service and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Service or their subject matter or formation. If you are a consumer residing in Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in the Scottish courts. If you are a consumer residing in Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the Northern Irish courts.
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed from the remaining terms, which shall continue in full force and effect. The failure of VDTPanl Ltd to enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms of Service or your use of our services, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiation. You may contact us with your concern by sending a detailed written description to our registered address or by email to [email protected]. We will endeavour to respond within 14 business days and work towards a mutually acceptable resolution.
If the dispute cannot be resolved through informal negotiation within 30 calendar days of the initial written complaint, either party may refer the matter to mediation administered by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in London. The costs of mediation shall be shared equally between the parties unless the mediator determines otherwise. Both parties agree to participate in mediation in good faith before pursuing any formal legal proceedings.
As a member of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC), VDTPanl Ltd also participates in the RECC consumer dispute resolution scheme. If you are a domestic consumer and your complaint relates to an installation contract, you may be eligible to use the RECC dispute resolution service as an alternative to the process described above.
Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from the courts where necessary to prevent irreparable harm.
VDTPanl Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website, without prior notice and at our sole discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms of Service, suspected fraudulent or illegal activity, or conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to other users, our business interests, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use the Website will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms of Service that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification obligations, and dispute resolution provisions.
If you have an active installation contract with VDTPanl Ltd, termination of your Website access does not automatically affect that separate contractual relationship. The terms governing your installation contract, including cancellation provisions and refund policies, are set out in the specific contract documentation provided to you at the point of order confirmation.
VDTPanl Ltd reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for updates. Your continued use of the Website after any changes to the Terms of Service indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
If you do not agree with the revised terms, you should discontinue your use of the Website immediately. For customers with existing installation contracts, changes to these Website terms do not alter the terms of your individual service agreement unless explicitly stated.
